Finance and Administrative Assistant
The Finance and Administrative Assistant supports the financial operations and daily administrative functions of the Town. Listed below are just a few of the responsibilities.
- Processing Accounts Payable and Receivables.
- Preparing and recording financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget.
- Maintaining financial records in accordance with Local, State, and Federal regulations.
- Reconciling bank statements and assisting with monthly financial reports.
- Providing support during audits and preparing requested documentation.
- Assisting residents with utility billing questions, payments, and account inquiries.
- Supporting payroll processing and maintaining related records.
- Maintaining organized files, records, and documentation for public access and compliance.
- Providing customer service by responding to citizen questions and directing inquiries appropriately.
The Finance and Administrative Assistant also works closely with the Town Manager and other staff members to ensure efficient daily operations and performs other duties as assigned by the Town Manager or the Board of Commissioners.
