The Town of
Kenansville is governed by a Manager / Board of Commissioners form of Government. The spending agencies submit their requests to the
Town Manager & Clerk and Board of Finance who then bring a budget proposal
to the Commissioners. The Commissioners then review and
adopt the budget setting the town property tax rate, which is
.39 per $100 valuation for fiscal year 2011.
